Privacy Policy for Morph

Effective date: 11 September 2026

Morph is a developer tool. You describe an app in your own words, and Morph uses an AI model to write and run real code for it, directly on your device. This page explains what data that involves.

What we send to the AI provider

Morph's app-generation and editing features are powered by OpenAI's API. When you write or edit an app, the following is sent to OpenAI for processing:

This data is handled under OpenAI's API data usage policy. Morph does not operate its own servers that store or process this data — it goes directly from your device to OpenAI.

What stays on your device

Every app you build, its full edit history, and its chat transcript are stored locally on your device only. Morph has no account system and no backend of its own. Deleting an app, or uninstalling Morph, removes this data completely.

Permissions a generated app may ask for

Because Morph lets you build apps that use real device features, an app you create may ask iOS for permission to use:

Each of these is only requested at the moment a specific app you built actually tries to use it, through the standard iOS permission prompt, and only if you approve it. Data accessed this way (e.g. a photo, a location reading, a contact) is used within that app on your device and is not transmitted anywhere by Morph itself.

No advertising, no analytics, no data sale

Morph does not include advertising SDKs, analytics trackers, or crash reporting services. Nothing collected here is sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Children's privacy

Morph is a developer tool and is not directed at children. It is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13.
